Lego story #016: Building the Medieval Blacksmith (Part 2)

 A place to call home.

Bag 6 begins the middle floor of the Blacksmith's home. It's a kitchen/dining room where he hangs out after a long day of smithying.

Something green's boiling on the stove...

Next, Bag 7 creates the first bit of roofing. It's these pointy blue tiles that make this Lego set so distinctive. And here hangs the Blacksmith's trade sign.

Below: more in the kitchen. Frying pan, cleaver, and a carrot destined for chopping.

The chairs are a little oversized, but I like how the chair backs are made of two axes and a rod. Unfortunately, it's a little hard to access the keg in the corner now.

And that's all to the kitchen/dining.

Bag 8:
Now for some pillar support in front of the main door, which leads into the kitchen.

Oven hood and stairs complete. Note that the forge and kitchen share the same chimney.

Even without a roof, the house already looks pretty good doesn't it?
