It all comes together.
Taking this detour into the Minecraft theme has been fun. In total, I built four sets. All four were excellent and I'd recommend every one to a Lego Minecraft lover.
Here's what they look like combined, because part of the fun is having different biomes in one world!
First, here are the smallest and the largest sets combined: 21240 Swamp Adventure with 21125 Jungle Treehouse.
Both have water terrain, so that's a natural point of connection.
Next is 21189 Skeleton Dungeon with the Jungle Treehouse. Both have a waterfall and greenery.
Here are different ways to position the two sets.
21243 Frozen Peaks might not seem like a natural choice to pair with Skeleton Dungeon, but they both have caves. They don't look too bad together.
Lastly, here are all four sets combined!
Three of these sets have since gone to new homes. I decided to keep the smallest as a souvenir. Even after building the large and impressive Jungle Treehouse, I still appreciate Swamp Adventure for how much it packs into only 65 pieces.
It didn't take long for me to understand the appeal of Lego Minecraft once I got into building, photographing, and watching video reviews of these sets. Even as a non-player, I really like the color schemes and play features.
Guess I've come a long way from my initial feelings about this Lego theme. I used to mock Lego Minecraft, but consider me a casual fan now!
