"Afterparty," a Viking-versus-D&D tale.
The best mead on this side of the sea.
An invitation to the party.
A good night for drinking with friends.
Or alone.
Or alone on rooftops.
The party went on . . .
. . . till break of day.
Keeping watch . . .
. . . for unexpected mischief.
The assault, when it came, was two-pronged.
Arrows and bolts from above; swords and maces below.
You kill me, I kill you.
GWAARRRRR!!!
An efficient invasion, a cunning mastermind.
The raiders from another world had the upper hand.
When it was all over -- and it was over quickly -- bodies strewn and mead spilled . . .
The victors picked up the pieces and partied. They had the best mead this side of the sea!
The End.

I hope you liked this little montage, which I didn't photograph with a story in mind.
While
sorting through photos I wondered how to arrange them and realized they
could be strung together with a beginning, middle, and end.
If I
could add anything, it would be a second-last photo showing the bodies
of fallen Vikings. Sadly no chance of that now; as I mentioned in Part 1, I've sold the Viking Village and it's gone to a new home. I trust its new owner is enjoying this set as much as I did.
My little Dungeons & Dragons friends are still with me though! I'll introduce them with close-up pictures another day.
