Lego story #022: "Bonsai Tree with Bird," by Wiljan Keizer

An alternate build for 10281 Bonsai.

Rebrickable.com has a few alternate builds of the Bonsai which are free. "Bonsai Tree with Bird" recreates it on a smaller scale and adds a bird.

I really like it, though it's a little unsteady and the bird's not fully upright.

Clever use of the round 1x1 tiles to add a smidge of color and complexity to the bird's tail.

If you're tired of a vanilla Bonsai, "Bonsai Tree with Bird" is a nice way to switch things up in your display cabinet.
