An alternate build by McScottyBricks.
This will be my last Castle post in a long time. I do have two un-posted medieval sets, but you'll be seeing Star Wars for awhile.
So here's a fan-made alternate build to the old Creator 3-in-1 Medieval Castle (31120). Made by McScottyBricks, this is a fine collection of dioramas -- or habitats as they're also called.
Habitats usually reflect the natural environments of a minifigure, or tell a story.
In case, it wasn't clear: that was a blacksmith's forge.
Obviously a dungeon in which some poor soul rotted. Plus a grey brick-built mouse.
Chickens and frog, chilling outdoors.
A quartermaster, perhaps?
Supposed to be a king or general, I'm guessing.
Rather flimsy structural spine of this whole display. Crumbled on me a few times, but it works.
The display is crowned by a habitat for the dragon. Look at him roar!
The cast of 31120 may not be as cool or colorful as the D&D minifigure series, but these dioramas hold their own.
After multiple posts on Castle builds, I look forward to moving beyond these grey walls and onto Star Wars. Though, uh, the Star Wars theme tends to be dominated by a grey palette . . . but not the sets I'll post about!
